From the Professional Area we want to congratulate and welcome the new directorial team Cristina Cazorla and Alba Sarraute who are joining the Fira Trapezi of Reus in its 27th edition. A new phase begins and as usual we will keep supporting the circus and culture unconditionally. In the following edition there will be a gaze into caring and maternity, a programme with different formats, an exploration of new performing spaces and a window to recover the Catalan talent based abroad. We take back the streets to transform Reus into a circus tent. Welcome to the 27th edition of Fira Trapezi!
We will be the meeting point where different sector professionals will present, learn about and boost bonds, and we will count with Belén Brandido as our PRO facilitator. In addition, the fair is also a space for knowledge, debate and reflection about the sector and an exhibition platform for current circus creations.
We want to invite you to the programmed activities of Trapezi Pro Area Catalan Arts, an encounter point for professionals and organisations of the circus sector (creation, production, distribution, presentation, dissemination, training, etc,). This year, one of the professional activities will take place in the previous days of the fair and the rest on Wednesday 10 May in the morning (online), Thursday 11 and Friday 12 May (in person). In order to articulate the activities, this edition of Fira Trapezi counts with the collaboration of COFAE, APCC, CircoRed, La Central del Circ and Territorio Violeta.
For the first time, this year we will have two professional meeting spaces: Cal Massó (C/ de Pròsper de Bofarull 7), which we have used in previous edition as the accreditations pick up point and that will work as the space for speed meetings and sectoral activities, and La Palma (C/ Ample, 75), which will be the showcase place and where we will host the professional lunch.
