Desdèmona
We have all heard about Shakespeare’s Othello, but what is the play really about? Could it be explained differently? Alba Sarraute & les Ofèlies use the language of circus: by means of acrobatics, music and the bodies of the performers, they put together a collection of highly poetic images. Through the eyes of Desdemona, Othello’s wife, we will dive into the most dramatic dimensions of human nature… but always with a smile.
A show that combines circus and Shakespeare texts, where characters tell a story with their bodies and music. The tragedy becomes volatile and universal as it goes through the circus disciplines.
