Cirquemétrage is a circus capsule which draws inspiration from the concept of short movie “court métrage”. Blending circus (trapeze, mouth balance, knive throwing) and inspired by magie nouvelle, Cirquemétrage oscillates between unsettling realism and moments of absurd beauty in a sharp caricature of our productivity driven system. Drawing from the striking aesthetics of 1980s cinema, the space itself transforms alongside the protagonist, a mutable stage that breathes and changes, while she remains trapped between the four walls of an office that whisper the echo of an entire system.
