The artist transforms ladders and metal objects into sculptures that challenge the traditional language of the circus. DA is an ephemeral piece of exhibition circus that merges the atmosphere of an art gallery with the circus universe. The audience is invited to reflect on education, rules, and prohibitions that shape our perception of art.
With a dadaist and humorous touch, the performance questions established beliefs and shakes theological and aesthetic conventions. It confronts us with the coldest, most metallic and superficial art, but also reveals its hidden tenderness.
Like iron: dense, hard, malleable. And perhaps absurd. But beautiful. DA celebrates the poetry of extremes and the fragility of what seems to mean nothing, yet says everything.
