Entre bous i vaques is a show that focuses on the elderly and those who care for them. The piece addresses oblivion, old age, cognitive degeneration, and Alzheimer's disease through an acrobatic and bodily language.
The title is inspired by an event that took place on April 30, 2020: an elderly woman with Alzheimer's got lost in the mountains. After three days of wandering, she was found serene, 20 km from her home, in the middle of a meadow, surrounded by bulls and cows.
The team consists of 5 acrobats who work on acrobatic lifts, hand-to-hand techniques, and methods inspired by the aerial craddle and the double trapeze. Five women paying homage to past generations. We — and those who accompany us — fight in silence so that forgetting does not mean disappearing. To remind us that, despite everything, we still have the capacity to love.
