Transhumància Artificial 3.9 is a dystopian circus stage piece with touches of surrealism that invites the audience to question and reflect on the consequences of the imbalance between the natural environment and the digital world. The performance warns of the risk of an irreversible disconnection between human practices and their physical and communal dimension.
We are placed at the beginning of the 22nd century: after the third Global Apocalypse, the supply of basic goods has collapsed and digital technology has become obsolete; farmers and livestock breeders had been warning of the disaster for decades, since the great droughts of the previous century. The new paradigm forces us to look back.
