Wings of Steel is an aerial act that reimagines the traditional discipline of vertical chain in a contemporary way. Performed on a heavy steel chain, the piece balances raw strength with fragile suspension. The chain itself becomes a central character on stage. Its weight and resonating sound turn into symbols of both restriction and freedom.
Unlike most aerial acts that emphasize lightness and effortless flight, Wings of Steel confronts the audience with heaviness, gravity, and risk. Shocking tricks and a final Iron Jaw sequence push the body to extremes and transform the chain into a stage partner rather than a prop. The result is a rare performance that stays with the audience – unforgettable in its striking imagery, and unsettling in the questions it leaves behind.
